Rectangular Obround Sight Glass Fittings provide indication of flow, level and
chemical and physical reactions in the inside of vessels, tanks, reactors etc

View widths up to 50 mm

on demand with cylindrical pad shape and drainage chamfer

sightglass: soda-lime-silicate glass DIN 8903 (up to 100°C) or borosilicate glass DIN 7081 (up to 243°C)
seals: silicone, EPDM or Reinz AFM 34 (FDA compliant) or PTFE (others on request)
bolts: cyl. bolts DIN 912 A2-70 or A4-70 - completely recessed

Important remark:

 

With the velding into the vessel, tha base frame becomes part of this. Therefor the pressure is not valid for the base frame. Before applying the sightglass, the opening in the vessel must be reviewed concidering "AD-Merkblatt B9"! If necessary the vessel must be reinforced!
